Natural Region DescriptionSaskatoon Island Provincial Park is an island of forest in a sea of farmland. The lake, forest and shrub habitats are home to an incredible diversity of birds including the threatened trumpeter swan; the area is designated as a federal migratory bird sanctuary. The park offers a full range of recreational activities including camping, hiking, berry picking and wildlife viewing; the park's group day use area is equipped with wood stove, sink and outdoor natural gas barbecue.
