Aspen Beach Provincial Park and Crimson Lake Provincial Park (within the David Thompson Area) offer Interpreter led curriculum-based environmental education programs. These programs run from May to June and in September for students in Kindergarten to Grade 5.

*Please note school and community groups are responsible for arranging transportation to and from the Provincial Parks.
Booking Information
Availability
- All programs must be pre-booked, and are available on a first come, first served basis.
- Yearly program bookings for the Spring and Fall begin the first week of February.
- Spring Programs run after the May Long Weekend from Wednesday to Friday until the end of June.
- Fall Programs run after the September Long Weekend from Wednesday to Friday until the end of September.
Fees, Class Size and Cancellation Policy
- Price is $3 per child (GST included). We request that programs are paid for in advance.
- Programs are designed for 30 students. Larger groups may require split programming or adjusted schedules.
- Program cancellation must be received 1 week prior to program for a refund. If the program is cancelled due to inclement weather by the school teacher, the fee will be refunded or if possible, the program rescheduled.

Field Trip Preparation
There’s no bad weather, only bad clothing! Please ensure that students are dressed for a comfortable and successful day outside. "Must haves" include:
- Clothing appropriate for the weather conditions (expect to be outside for 4 hours)
- Water Bottle
- Lunch (no microwave on site - expect to eat outside)
- Closed toe shoes (no sandals please)
- Sunscreen and bug spray depending on the season
