Nature Navigators

Let’s become Nature Navigators! After learning how to use natural clues, a compass, and a map, students will embark on an exciting journey through the park to uncover hidden locations and solve the Beauvais Lake Mystery. Along the way, they’ll discover the rich history of Beauvais Lake Provincial Park and explore how the land and people have changed over time.   

Students will:  

  • Go on a guided walk to learn how nature reveals direction  
  • Practice using a compass and chart a course through the park  
  • Use maps to find hidden clues and solve a park-wide mystery  
  • Explore the story of Beauvais Lake through different historical periods
