On this full-day field trip, students will hike ~4 km while exploring two distinct ecosystems as scientists. Working in "scientific teams", they’ll compare and contrast biotic and abiotic factors, learning how these interactions shape ecosystems and how human activities impact them. Indigenous worldviews will be shared, offering a holistic perspective on our relationship with the land and inspiring a sense of stewardship and reciprocity.
