Alberta Parks offers camping experiences to meet every need. Individual family camping, Group Camping, Comfort camping, adventurous Backcountry opportunities, reservable and First-Come, First-Served, all with a range of amenities to ensure a great experience.
Most of Alberta's parks allow day use. Facilities and services provided to support day use vary significantly, from a trailhead parking area, to Olympic training venues. Group day use areas are available in many of our parks, as either First-Come, First-Served or by reservation.
Alberta has over 460 provincial parks & protected areas where you can make your own adventure. Whether you like to hike, mountain bike, fish, canoe, sit by the campfire or hang out at the beach, there are many places to choose from.
