Damage deposits may be required for some comfort camping units, group camping areas and/or equipment rentals (e.g. a canoe). Damage deposits allow Alberta Parks to collect for any loss, damage, substantial cleaning or additional human resources costs associated with rental of a facility or rental of equipment. The damage deposit will be held until the facility or equipment has been inspected and cleaned (where applicable). Once the facility or equipment has been deemed to have no extra cost associated with said rental, the damage deposit hold will be released. If there is loss, damage or additional human resource costs for extra cleaning, only the actual amount of the loss, damage or extra cleaning will be taken from the damage deposit hold. |
