Alberta Parks allows limited harvesting of some trees in select parks for personal use as fuel or as a Christmas Tree with a valid Tree Cutting Permit. If you wish to apply for a permit, please select a park from the list below and submit an application.
- All online applications must be reviewed and approved by an Alberta Parks staff member.
- Applications are reviewed in the order they are received and in some cases may take up to a week to process. Please apply early to allow time for processing
- Note tree cutting is strictly prohibited in any park not listed below, or without a valid Tree Cutting Permit.
- Permits are only valid once you receive a copy that is signed by an authorized Alberta Parks staff member
