When to Make a Reservation
Alberta Parks online reservations are available to book within a rolling booking window. Your arrival date must be within the booking window before a reservation can be made. The booking window advances by one day each morning at 9:00 a.m.
Individual Campsites and Backcountry Camping
- Individual campsites and backcountry camping reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance of your arrival date.
- The first date a reservation can be made is 90 days before the campground season opening date.
- Individual campsite and backcountry campers can book up to 10 consecutive nights and can stay for a total of 16 consecutive nights by making multiple reservations.
Comfort Camping and Group Camping Areas
- Comfort Camping and Group Camping Area reservations can be made up to180 days in advance of your arrival date.
- The first date a reservation can be made is 180 days before the facility season opening date.
- Comfort campers can book up to 10 nights and can stay for a total of 16 consecutive nights by making multiple reservations.
- The maximum stay in a Group Camping Area is 5 consecutive nights.
2025 Reservable Additions
We’re adding 330 campsites and two Group Camping Areas from 15 parks to Shop.AlbertaParks.ca for the 2025 camping season.
- The new additions will be available to book on April 8 at 9:00 a.m.
- Following their respective booking windows, Individual campsites will be bookable until July 7 and Group Camping Areas will be bookable until October 5.
- At least 40% of the campsites in each newly reservable campground will remain first-come, first-served.
