Although an advisory is in place for this area, bears can be encountered at any time. To avoid a surprise encounter with a bear:

Details: The water system was shut down as of September 14. The shower houses, campground water taps, and the sani-dump station are not available. Please bring your own water.
Located on the shores of Little McLeod Lake, this Day Use Area is a great spot to spend an afternoon. Have your lunch at the picnic area, complete with an accessible picnic table and a maintained grassy area. When you are ready to explore the water, launch your electric-powered boat, kayak, canoe, or standup paddleboard at the boat launch and moor it at the dock. A vault outhouse is located at this day use area.
