Please note the following as you prepare for your winter visit to Carson-Pegasus:

Loops A,B,C,D,E,F and G are closed for the winter.
Loop H is first come, first served. Power remains on in the powered sites. Payment can be made by cash or cheque in the self-registration vault just past the Seawall Parking Lot at the entrance to G and H loops.
The Campground Booth and Store are closed. Please bring your own firewood.
The water system is shut down including flush toilets, shower houses, taps in loops, sani dump and fill station. Please bring water with you.
The wooden docks have been removed from McLeod and Little McLeod Lakes. The floating docks are not accessible from shore for the winter.
Snow removal from roadways within the park may be delayed by a few days following a snowfall.

Located on the shores of McLeod Lake, this Day Use Area has everything you need to have a fun day at Carson-Pegasus Provincial Park. Grab a snack at the Carson Cove Store and take it to the nearby picnic area with picnic tables and firepits.

Go for a walk along the seawall with benches to enjoy the view and rod holders for fishing. Relax at the beach, which has a playground and picnic tables. If you are feeling adventurous, you can take a short hike to the tip of the peninsula.

Launch your boat at the boat launch, and with a 12 km/hr speed limit in place, McLeod Lake is perfect for fishing and paddling. A fish cleaning station is also located here.

Parking is available at the Carson Cove Store and at the seawall parking lot at the top of the hill. Accessible parking spaces are available at the beach.
