Friends of Blackfoot Society is the "co-operating association" that Alberta Parks works with to enhance heritage programs and services at Cooking Lake-Blackfoot Provincial Recreation Area.  It is a not-for-profit society that relies on volunteers.

As well as hosting and supporting special events, the Friends also operate the Heritage Interpretation Centre at Cooking Lake-Blackfoot and undertake other projects.
