What is it that make the Kootenay Plains so special? Come join our interpreter for an hour guided walk in the Kootenay Plains and help identify the plants, birds, and geological features that make this one of the most unique ecosystems in the Rocky Mountains. This walk includes some steep grades and stairs. Sturdy walking shoes, walking poles, water, sunscreen, a camera, and an eye for detail are recommended.
At Crimson Lake Provincial Park?
Will be driving as a convoy following the Park Interpreter. Please ensure your vehicle has enough fuel for approximately 300 KM round trip.
