Day Use is permitted. Outhouse facilities are open where feasible - be prepared with your own hand sanitizer and toilet paper. Campgrounds open, starting June 1 at 50% capacity. Second RV units will not be permitted on campsites. We are monitoring our actions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and will adjust as needed.

Fickle Lake Campground is found in Fickle Lake Provincial Recreation Area, 31 km southwest of Edson off Hwy. 47. There are 41 sites for both RVs and tents, with some spots along the lakeside. The lots are surrounded by natural spruce forest and allow easy access to the lake, boat launch and sandy shoreline. It is a great location for fishing, birding, canoeing & kayaking, with an interpretive trail leads to the remains of a trapper's cabin.

Firewood sold on-site.

Water

Water is available from a hand pump at this site. Although Alberta Parks strives to maintain water quality, we recommend that you bring your own drinking water.
