Information: 780-960-8170
Season: Year-round

Klondike Trail Staging is one of three staging areas for those wishing to explore Fort Assiniboine Sandhills Wildland Provincial Park. It is named after the famous Klondike Trail that gold rush adventurers seeking the gold fields in Yukon travelled on in the 1800s. Access is via a gravel road that leads to a parking lot. Here you can find hitching rails for equestrians, an outhouse, and access to over 80 kilometres of trails. There are two historic sites nearby – Grave Site and Trappers Cabin Ruin, both located along the Klondike Trail. View the trail map here

In the winter, this parking lot is not maintained.
