In the summer, the clear lake offers swimming and excellent rainbow trout fishing, where visitors often report consistent bites and good action. The area features a convenient boat launch (electric motors only) and a dedicated fish cleaning station to handle your catch.

During winter, visitors frequent the area for ice fishing and ungroomed cross-country skiing opportunities.
