Details: Due to the structures poor condition, the viewing platform closest to site 129 is closed. Going beyond the barriers is dangerous and unsafe. The Government of Alberta is committed to ensuring all visitors have a safe experience in our parks, and all visitors are prohibited from going beyond the barriers set in place. Follow the direction of all signage and personnel in the area and stay out of active construction zones.
Overlooking the beautiful Sylvan Lake, Jarvis Bay Provincial Park offers a fully serviced campground and an ample trail system. Although there is no access to the lake from the campground, it is only a 10 minute drive to the main beach on Lakeshore Drive in the town of Sylvan Lake.
With its close proximity to town amenities, Jarvis Bay Provincial Park is a great base for anyone wishing to spend time at one of central Alberta’s most popular lakes.
