Information Officer & Lead Information Officer


Information Officers (IOs) are the first point of contact for visitors to Provincial Park campgrounds. Their role in the permit booth, retail stores and visitor centres is to create a positive experience for visitors by providing useful and timely information around park activities, rules and regulations, and nearby amenities. With a focus on front-line customer service, cash handling, and administration, this seasonal position is perfect for people who are interested in gaining administrative and retail experience in a unique setting.
The Lead Information Officer (LIO) oversees the Information Officers and day-to-day operations in Provincial Park campground booths, retail stores and visitor centres. This position is a front-line customer service role that focuses on higher level administrative and leadership tasks, such as scheduling, staff training, inventory management, cash reconciliation, and reporting.

Type: Seasonal (up to 40 hours/week)

Rate of Pay: $19.20-$23.37/hr Information Officer / $21.14-$25.83/hr Lead Information Officer
(Plus 11.2% in lieu of benefits and holidays)
