The Medicine Lake Campground is located in the Medicine Lake Provincial Recreation Area, 47 kms north of Rocky Mountain House on highway 22 and 12 kms southeast on a gravel access road. Many of the sites are surrounded by trees for privacy, and a few are located next to the lake. Launch your canoe or boat to fish, visit the playground or explore informal OHV trails off-site. Please keep OHV's on trailers in the recreation area.
The Medicine Lake Group site is a private site with its own boat launch, 9 campsites with room for additional units and boasts the most beautiful sunsets in Alberta. Bring your boats or kayaks for an enjoyable time fishing or just paddling.

Snowmobiling: snowmobiling is permitted on the lake only; lake access is available from the boat launch parking lot; snowmobiles must be unloaded onto the lake; snowmobiling is not permitted elsewhere in the recreation area.
