Miquelon Lake Campground

Information: 780-672-7274
Directions

This large campground offers many spacious sites, surrounded by mixed forest and suitable for RVs and tents. There are unserviced, powered, and pull-through sites to choose from. A fun getaway at all times of the year with many trails for hiking, mountain biking, or skiing. Families can enjoy a number of playgrounds and summer interpretive programs. Miquelon is part of the Beaver Hills Dark Sky Preserve and is a nice spot to watch the stars.

Alberta Parks is pleased to provide winter camping this coming season at Miquelon Lake Provincial Park.

From Thanksgiving weekend until late April, 10 sites in the park’s A loop of the campground will be made available and maintained all winter by Alberta Parks staff for camping. They will be available on a first-come, first-served basis only.

Camping fees will be collected via a self registration camping system on site that accepts cash or personal cheques only. Fees are $26 per night. Power only (water and hookups not available. Bring your own firewood). No sani-dump services will be available.

Campers should come self sufficient and be prepared for winter conditions. Cell phone coverage in the park is not reliable and staff coverage is significantly reduced from summer operating levels.
