Located a short 30-minute drive southwest of Rocky Mountain House, the Prairie Creek Large Group Use Area is a great staging area for groups looking to access the off-site Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) trails in thearea. With space for up to 30 units on site, this unserviced Group Use Area has a large firepit area, horseshoe pits, a water pump and vault toilets available for the private use of the group.
It is important to note that while offloading OHVs is permitted within the Large Group Use Area for registered campers only, a strict 10 km/hr speed limit is in place to ensure the conservation of the site. OHV use anywhere else in the park is prohibited.
