Natural Region Description

This natural area is a frost-active site with palsas, thermokarst, micro-hummocky and pockmarked terrain. The area contains: sub-alpine colluvium, fluvial, morainal and organic terrain; grassland and wet meadows; Engelmann spruce-alpine fir-lodgepole pine stands; and dwarf birch shrubland.
