Tay River Provincial Recreation Area is located 16 km southwest of Caroline on Highway 591. Campsites are suited to both RVs and tents. Most are in an open grassy field, with a few choice sites by the river. Dip your toes in the river or cast a line and catch a fish!
While campers may take advantage of the proximity to off-highway vehicle (OHV) and equestrian trails, off-loading or operating OHVs inside the park is strictly prohibited. OHVs must remain on trailers until they reach the nearby trail systems and staging areas. Horses are not permitted within the park boundaries.
Horseback riding: access to trails only; horse use is not permitted in the recreation area.
OHV riding/snowmobiling: informal trails in the vicinity; snowmobile/OHV off-loading within campground and travel to trails from campsites prohibited.
