Lower Reservoir Day Use

This Day Use Area is directly adjacent to the Vermilion River Reservoir. It provides a staging area for visitors to explore the trails that run along the Vermilion River and Reservoir or get out onto the water. A dock, which is shared with the local Vermilion Rowing Club, can be used to hand launch non-motorized boats or watercraft.

A beach volleyball court and net are available for use during day use hours. This area of the park is inaccessible in the winter by vehicle, but can be accessed by foot for hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, or tobogganing.
