Details: Due to damages caused by summer rain storms and leakage, the CN Station will remain closed to the public until the building can be repaired and declared safe for public use. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Where: Aspen Trail
Details: Wastewater system upgrades will take place at Vermilion Provincial Park starting September 8, 2026. Construction crews will begin work around the maintenance shop and the residence. In mid-October, construction will begin at the main lift station located near the Aspen Trailhead. Visitors using the trail system may notice construction equipment, noise, and increased activity in the work areas during business hours, Monday to Friday. Some trails may be temporarily closed. For your safety, please follow all signs, barriers, and fenced areas. Visitors should stay away from active work areas and use caution when near construction equipment. Construction work will pause from December to mid-February and should be completed by spring 2027. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this important infrastructure work is being completed.
Follow the direction of all signage and personnel in the area and stay out of active construction zones.

Details: A short connector trail between Saskatoon Trail and Fescue Trail is temporary closed due to wet conditions on the clay hill. Please use alternate routes.
