Fiddle Pass (to Miette Hot Springs)

Take Upper Whitehorse Creek Trail for 7.5 km.
At the junction, take the right fork and continue up a steep horse trail and past scree slopes. The trail climbs most of the way for 4.1 km to Fiddle Backcountry Campground, located at tree line.
2.4 km farther along, past a flat meadow and small tarn, a final climb takes you to Fiddle Pass with magnificent views of Whitehorse Creek and Harlequin Mountain, and into Jasper National Park.
If you are continuing into Jasper National Park (JNP):
- The hike to Miette Hot Springs is another 26 km. For details, consult JNP trail guides.
- The Fiddle Pass/Miette Hot Springs Trail is not suitable for mountain bikes.
- Wilderness passes must be purchased for overnight stays in the backcountry in JNP.
