Select roads, campgrounds, day-use areas, trails, and areas of Kananaskis Country will be temporarily closed before, during, and after the 2025 G7 Leaders’ Summit in June. Check for closures before you go.

Hike or ride your bike one of the park's trails.
Fish in Bow River, Gap Lake and Grotto Pond. These waters fall in the ES1 Fish Management Zone. Check Alberta Guide to Sportfishing Regulations for detailed information.
Lac Des Arcs and Gap Lake provide boating opportunities.
- Non-powered pleasure craft are not recommended on Gap Lake due to its small size.
- Review boating safety requirements for pleasure crafts.
Have a picnic at one of the many day use areas.
Enjoy a fun and informative interpretive program in summer.
