Canoe Meadows Day Use Area is a lively riverside stop in Bow Valley Provincial Park along Highway 40. It has a picnic area and water access for paddling, making it a popular launch point for kayaking on the Lower Kananaskis River. Canoe Meadows is also known for its white-water slalom course and training area, supporting recreational paddlers and competitive events. The site connects to riverside trails and sits beside open meadowland and riverfront, offering a scenic and active day use experience year-round.
