** A regular season pass is valid from Friday November 15, 2024 to Wednesday April 30, 2025 (Weather & snow conditions pending). If you would like to use Frozen Thunder or any other trail before this time, you will need to purchase a Day Pass or Frozen Thunder Pass.
Frozen Thunder is financed and operated through a partnership agreement between: Nordiq Canada, Biathlon Canada, Alberta World Cup Academy, Alberta Biathlon, Nordiq Alberta, and WinSport with support from the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park.

The Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park is part of Kananaskis Country. All vehicles parking at the Canmore Nordic Centre are required to purchase a Kananaskis Conservation Pass (KCP). The KCP Pass can be purchased online or, inside of the Canmore Nordic Centre daylodge between the hours of 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
