The Bow Valley Biathlon Organizing Committee is excited to announce that we will be holding the 2026 Canadian Biathlon Championships and Spring Biathlon Festival at the Canmore Nordic Centre from Tuesday, March 24 to Sunday, March 29, 2026.
The competition will showcase the best biathletes from across the country! It will also provide a unique banquet experience, new Biathlon Building, and potentially a vendor trade show. The festival will include IBU and U17 categories, as well as Adult (Masters), Development, and EcoAim categories. An event competition schedule, as well as further details, is under development and will be available in the future.
This will be an IBU Regional Event, and will provide Junior and Open competitors with IBU Qualifying Points for international eligibility for the 2026-2027 season.

Tentative Schedule:
Monday March 23 – Setup / Unofficial Training
Tuesday March 24 - Official Training Day #1. Race office opens
Wednesday March 25 – Sprint with Penalty Loop
Thursday March 26 – Individual with no Penalty Loop
Friday March 27 - Official Training Day #2. Open Eco Aims.
Saturday March 28 – Mass start with Penalty Loop
Sunday March 29 – Single Mixed Relay with Penalty Loop
