EVENT NOTICE: FIS Para Cross-Country World Cup 2025 from December 2-7, 2025

-Thursday, December 4: 10:00am - 1:50pm - 10km interval start, classic technique (sitting, vision impaired, and standing) Public Closures.

-Friday, December 5: 10:00am - 2:00pm - Official training. Public Closures.  

-Saturday, December 6: 10:00am - 3:00pm - Sprint races, free technique (sitting, vision impaired, and standing) Public Closures. 

-Sunday, December 7: 10:00am - 3:00pm - Para mass start 20km, classic technique (sitting, vision impaired, and standing) Public Closures. 

Public Wax Rooms 1 & 2 will be closed from 12pm on Friday, November 28 - end of day Sunday, December 14 due to the events taking place on site. During this time, there will be wax bench located on the South side of the day lodge available for public use. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. 

Please respect snowmaking equipment and stay at least 2m away from operating equipment. Never move snow guns, or cross hoses/powerlines.


CURRENT CLOSURES: Construction of the Bow Valley Fireguard started within the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park on August 18th. This work involves mechanical tree removal and forest thinning with log hauling through the park. To ensure the safety of visitors around work areas and haul roads, some of the upper trails will remain closed during this time.

Closed until Spring 2026:

  • Backdoor, Killer Bees, Laundry Chutes, Nector Noodle, Oven, & Ziggys

For all emergencies on trail please dial 9-1-1 & report that you're in Kananaskis Country at the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park.

We recommend carrying bear spray year-round.
