Jan 18, 2025: FAT BIKING NOTICE: While we do encourage the usage of fatbikes on our trail system the CNC would like to ask that users please stay on designated fatbike trails only. These trails are marked on our maps, in CAMBA’s grooming report as well as with physical white signs with a fatbike logo. All riders using fatbike trails do so at their own risk and are encouraged to review the maps system before heading out, planning their route. Thank you.

Advisories

Advisories

January-February 2025: FireSmart work in progress at the North End of the CNC PP. Please watch out for snowmobile traffic. Work in progress Monday to Friday, 8-4. Smoke present in the area.

Public Wax Rooms #1-2 are open.

For all emergencies on trail please dial 9-1-1 & report that you're in Kananaskis Country at the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park.

Please report any carnivore sightings (bears, wolves, cougars) to Kananaskis Emergency Services by calling (403) 591-7755. We recommend carrying Bear Spray year-round.

Please Do Not Litter (cigarette butts, poop bags and banana peels or apple cores are littering) and help us to keep this site free of garbage. Improper disposal of garbage and waste has the potential to draw wildlife and can force area closures.

Practice leave no trace and pack out what you bring in. If a bear-proof garbage bin is FULL, please take your garbage home or use another bin.

A friendly reminder to all visitors: walking, snowshoeing and pets are not permitted on groomed cross-country ski trails.
