Preparing for a Youth Group Visit

• Chose a location and activity.
  • Visit the “Information and Facilities” page to find information on the various Day Use Areas of the park - HERE
  • Do not plan activities in Shannon Terrace during regular school days as the park hosts many school groups in the area throughout the school year.
• Review wildlife safety tips and park rules with participants. Discuss how park rules support the natural environment and a commitment to its care.
• Discuss with drivers the exact area of the park you plan to visit with volunteers. Review the route to be taken.
