Details:Parking areas along Powderface Road will be temporarily closed for construction.
All trails outside the closure areas will remain open.
The following designated trails will remain accessible by travelling around the fenced closure areas: Lusk Pass, Jumpingpound Ridge – Lusk Climb, Jumpingpound Summit, Prairie Creek, Powderface Creek, and Powderface Ridge.
Expect increased industrial traffic on Powderface Road, and please obey all posted signage.
Follow the direction of all signage and personnel in the area and stay out of active construction zones.

Details:A Bear Warning has been placed in the Kananaskis Lakes area including all facilities. The Warning is due to multiple bears in the area.
Although an advisory is in place for this area, bears can be encountered at any time. To avoid a surprise encounter with a bear:
Report sightings and incidents to 403-591-7755.
This barrier-free trail connects the main William Watson Lodge to the individual accommodation units at this special facility. The trail continues beyond the last cabin to a peninsula on the shoreline of Lower Kananaskis Lake.
