The Cougar Creek drainage was once a small, meandering drainage but following the flood event in 2013, has been scoured wide. It's impressive to hike this route and remember that the tiny little creek created this wide drainage. The trail leaves the Cougar Creek parking areas in Canmore, AB and continues upstream passing numerous bolted climbing routes.
