This trail follows beside and above the creek behind Nihahi Ridge. When the packed dirt trail exits onto the dry upper creek bed, there is a sharp left downstream. That leads hikers to the Nihahi Creek Canyon with its water-polished rock walls. Hikers can follow the canyon for a kilometre before having to retrace steps.
