School Programs

• Kananaskis Country Education Specialists offer curriculum-driven school programs for students in grades 4 to 12. Programs offered celebrate the unique stories and landscapes that complement the curriculum to embrace Alberta Parks as an authentic learning landscape.

Teacher-led Programs

• Teachers are encouraged and supported to lead their own programs in Kananaskis Country.
• To lead your own program, you'll need to register your school group and ensure you're within the appropriate trail group size limit.

Professional Development Workshops for Teachers

• We offer professional development workshops and session for teachers. These training opportunities can take place at your school, in a nearby natural space, or in an Alberta Park. 

Kananaskis in the Classroom

• Kananaskis in the Classroom brings Alberta Parks to schools throughout the Calgary region. Book one of these high-energy, educational presentations.
