Each year, Kananaskis Country hires 2 water education interns in partnership with the Elbow River Watershed Partnership. Interns support delivery of a freshwater field study to Grades 8, 9 and Biology 20 students, as well as public information and outreach programs. It is a seasonal placement that attracts junior professionals starting out their careers. Mentoring and training is provided by Kananaskis Country Environmental Education Coordinators.
