Boreal Bushcraft - Outdoor Survival Skills!

Ever wonder how our ancestors survived? Or how to stay alive if you were lost?

Boreal Bushcraft – Outdoor Survival Skills is an evening campfire program where everyone has the chance to learn about how our ancestors survived! Try out throwing sticks used for hunting, as well as sharpen your fire and shelter making skills. Learn about some of the edible plants around you and find out which ones could save your life! Bannock making, songs, and native plant treats top off the evening!

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Pets are welcome but must be on leash at all times and if they are disruptive, you may be asked to take them back to your campsite.
  • Rainy Day program will include Ghost Stories from “Campfire Ghost Stories: The Haunting Tales by Geordie Telfer”.
