The animals and plants in Lesser Slave Lake Provincial Park need help finding out what they do to survive winter. Students use their knowledge of habitat and seasonal change to help solve the mystery. This program includes

  • Discussion of the food, water and shelter requirements for a variety of plants and animals
  • Interactive activities designed to help students discover and remember the strategies animals and plants employ to survive the cold winters
