Devonshire Beach North is the second of two groomed sections of beach at the southern end of Lesser Slave Lake Provincial Park. There is a wheelchair-accessible viewing platform and ramp down to the beach – don’t forget you can borrow a Sandrider wheelchair from the Marten River Campground booth! The natural sand beach is great for building sandcastles, sunbathing, and playing, and the water is great for wading and swimming. Pit toilets are offered at the top of the ramp, and there are some picnic tables at the viewing platform partway down the ramp. From the parking area, you can also access the Whispering Sands Trail and the Freighter Lakeshore Trail.
