Details:The Campground and Group Use Area are now closed for camping for the season. The Day Use Area continues to be available through the fall season.
Maqua Lake Provincial Recreation Area is located on the eastern shore of Maqua Lake, about 37km southeast from the community of Fort McMurray. This non-motorized lake provides a beautiful location for paddlers in the area that may be looking for just a day use site, or for those looking to camp at a quiet, rustic individual campsite or group campsite.
