Construction Closure - Camping Loops and Beach

    Effective Date: September 3, 2025 - Until Further Notice

    Where: Moonshine Lake Campground , Moonshine Lake PP

    Details: The last night for camping at Moonshine Lake Provincial Park Campground is September 3. The campground closes for the season on September 4 at 2:00PM for the ongoing construction of the new Shower Building. Construction will be ongoing into 2026.  The beach is also closed for construction. Day Use Areas are open. 

    Follow the direction of all signage and personnel in the area and stay out of active construction zones.

Construction Closure - Beach Parking Lot

    Effective Date: July 9, 2025

    Where: Moonshine Lake Campground , Moonshine Lake Group Use , Moonshine Lake PP , Moonshine Lake Beach Parking Lot 

    Details:
    Due to ongoing construction of the new Shower Buildings, parking is prohibited at the Beach. 
    Follow the direction of all construction signage and personnel and stay out of active construction zones. 
    We apologize for the inconvenience this may create and hope to have the parking area available next year.

Partial Closure - Moonshine Lake Walking Trails

    Effective Date: June 10, 2025 - Until Further Notice

    Where: Moonshine Lake PP

    Details: Please be advised that some walking trails at Moonshine Lake Provincial Park are closed until further notice due to damage from the wildfire. 
    • Lakeview Loop trail is open.
    • Moose Meadows trail is closed.
    • Pioneer Path trail is closed.
    • Loggers Lane trail is closed.

This large campground has many amenities including powered sites, sewage disposal, a playground, showers, beach, pier, and boat launch. Enjoy swimming and beach activities as well as non-powered and electric powered boating. Fish for trout, hike, mountain bike, or picnic at Jack Bird Pond.
