Join us for Mammals of the Lakeland, a fun and educational workshop exploring the physical and behavioral differences between local mammal species. Learn how to identify species through tracks, scat and physical features, and discover tips for telling similar species apart.
This is a free, family-friendly event presented in collaboration with Lac La Biche County and LICA Environmental Stewards.
Celebrating Pollinators

Join the Park Interpreters and learn about the importance of pollinators in the Park and the important work they carry out. Even try your hand at catching some bugs and see if you can identify them!
Plus: Special Guests, Christy Creek Honey Farm is planning to bring their Bee Observation Tower so you can see the bees up close and learn some un-bee-lievably amazing facts!
Birds of SWC & Art in the Park

Welcoming back birds from near & far, and featuring others who always call SWCPP home… the great migration is in full swing and the choir is singing!
Plus: Take some time with your family and enjoy a peaceful moment outside while creating a keepsake to capture your visit to Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park.
Bear Essentials

Join the Park Interpreters and learn all the Bear Essentials you need to know when camping and recreating in Alberta Parks this season! Come find out what are attractants, how to identify a bear, and even try your luck at one of our games! An un-bear-ably good time will be had by all!
All Alberta Parks interpretive family programming is on a drop-in basis and for park visitors of all ages. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
