Details:The playgrounds at Camper's Beach is undergoing refurbishment work as of Thursday, June 11. It will be open for use from Friday, June 12 at 1:00pm to Monday, June 15 at 8:00am. The worksite will be cleaned up for use during the weekend, but work will resume on Monday, June 15 and the park will be closed until refurbishment work is complete during the week.
Alternative playgrounds are available in Day Use Area C and in the Comfort Camping Area on Long Island between Cabin 5 & 6.

Details:The boardwalk portion of Kinglet Trail (part of the interior loop of the island trails) near the entrance of Big Island, is not passable. Please obey all signage for closed trail and use detour.

Day Use Beach is located on the northeast shore of Big Island and includes six picnic areas alongside a large sandy beach. Each picnic area is equipped with designated fire pits, picnic tables, and a drinking water tap, with vault toilets conveniently located throughout the area. Picnic Area C offers a large parking lot, cooking shelter, picnic shelter, playground, and individual picnic sites, as well as direct access to the Day Use Beach, which features a designated swimming area and a Lifejacket Loaner Station.
