Details:Due to below average seasonal temperatures, potable water (drinking water) is not available. Non-potable water is available from the campground water taps. Non-potable water is not safe for consumption and should only be used to put out fires.
Please plan accordingly and bring your own water.
Located on the southeast shore of Sturgeon Lake, Williamson Day Use Area offers convenient lake access. Enjoy a peaceful afternoon exploring the lakeshore by kayak or canoe, glide behind a boat on skis, cruise on a sailboat, go windsurfing, cast a line into the blue water, or keep an eye out for local wildlife. Visitors can play in the sand at the beach, take a dip in the sparkling water, shoot hoops at the basketball court, check out the playground, or enjoy a lakeside meal.
A gazebo, three parking lots, two docks, various picnic areas with firepits, a fish cleaning station, vault toilets, and garbage receptacles are available for on-site use.
