Day Use is permitted. Outhouse facilities are open where feasible - be prepared with your own hand sanitizer and toilet paper. Campgrounds open, starting June 1 at 50% capacity. Second RV units will not be permitted on campsites. We are monitoring our actions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and will adjust as needed.

Long Lake Campground is located in Long Lake Provincial Park, 17 km south on Hwy. 831, and 3km east on access road. A popular destination with full amenities, including an onsite concession. Perfect for a day trip to the beach or a week long camping getaway with family and friends. Enjoy the trails looped through the park and the White Earth Valley Trail in White Earth Valley Natural Area adjacent to the park.

Camping Notes

  • Long Lake Provincial Park will be open to camping until October 15th 2019.
  • Last night of camping is October 14th 2019.
  • Self-registration will be in effect as of September 9th 2019.
  • Water is anticipated to be shut down the week of September 16th-20th, and reduced fees will be implemented at that time.
  • Please call the Athabasca District Parks office at 780-675-8213 for any questions.
  • Firewood costs $8.00/bundle
  • potable water is available at the sani station, to fill RV and camper water reservoirs
