The Northwest Region of Alberta Parks is looking for a motivated, courteous and hard-working individual with exceptional customer service and supervisory skills to fill the Campground Booth Lead Information Officer position for the summer for Saskatoon Island and Young’s Point Provincial Parks.

Lead Information Officers oversee the staff and day-to-day operations in Provincial Park campground booths. Reporting directly to the Visitor Services Coordinator, the Lead Information Officer is responsible for creating a positive, productive environment for up to four Information Officers (IOs). This position is a front-line customer service role that focuses on higher level administrative and leadership tasks, such as scheduling, staff training, inventory management, cash reconciliation, and reporting.
Must have supervisory experience. Must be a team player with strong customer service, communication and organizational skills. Require driver’s license and own transportation.
Note: Accommodations may be available within the park. Shift and weekend work is required.

Hours of work: Employees will work a 40 hour work week. Days of the week will depend on the placement, but staff can expect to work evenings and weekends.
