Visitors planning to travel to Beauvais Lake are advised that road construction is currently taking place on Highway 775, one of the main access routes to the park.

Travelers may experience traffic delays, reduced speeds, or intermittent stoppages while work is underway.

Please plan for extra travel time when visiting the park.

There have been multiple sightings of bears throughout the park as berry crops are ripening. 

Although an advisory is in place for this area, bears can be encountered at any time. To avoid a surprise encounter with a bear:

• Make plenty of noise and travel in groups.
• Be aware of your surroundings. Look and listen for bears and their signs.
• Keep your pet on a leash.
• Carry bear spray. Make sure it’s easily accessible and know how to use it.
• Secure attractants like food, garbage, pet food and any scented items in hard sided vehicles or bear proof lockers.
• Learn more about bear safety.
