Where: Castle Provincial Park , Designated Camping Area 3 Campground

Designated Camping Area 3B (Wolfberry) will have a partial closure from May 1 to August 31, 2026.

The upper loop of the camping area will be closed for any recreation activities while the lower sites remain open.

• Access to the bathroom is still available. 
• Please follow all posted signs and fence barriers.

Where: Castle Provincial Park , Designated Camping Area 7 Campground , Information & Facilities

Sartoris Road will have a delayed opening this year due to a road wash out by Designated Camping Area 7. 

• The closed area is highlighted in red on the attached map. 
• Designated Camping Area 7 will have a delayed opening expected May 15. 
• Surrounding trails are open. 

Equipment crews are working to repair the damages and restore access into Castle Provincial Park from this road. At this time the road is not passable by vehicles. 

If you are accessing Castle Provincial Park by vehicle please plan to use an alternate route:

• The Adanac Road and O'Hagen open May 1 for access into the Castle
• Trail access is possible through Staging Area 6 and at Designated Camping Area 5

Please respect all posted signs and provide space to the operating crews.

Anticipated opening of the road will be May 15^th, 2026.

Follow the direction of all signage and personnel in the area and stay out of active construction zones.

Where: Syncline North Day Use , Syncline South Day Use , Syncline Trail Network Trail

The Lake Loop Trail is partially underwater due to high water levels. At this time it is not possible to make a loop of the lake. 

Please check the map for alternate routes.

The vault toilets in Designated Camping Area 5 will have a delayed opening this season. Work is being done to get these buildings back open. 

Vault Toilets are open for Public Use in Designated Camping Areas, 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, and 4.
