North York Creek/ Plane Crash

Traditionally a quad trail from the York Creek Public Land Use Zone, this loop ascends to the North York basin. Due to weather conditions, the recommended usage is June to September. Expect some moderate rocky climbs in the second half of the trail.

The remains of the 1946 plane crash of the Royal Canadian Air Force Dakota aircraft remains in the area. Please be respectful of the memorial site of seven soldiers that were lost in this tragic accident.
